A Note to Current Students: Although students are not obligated under an annual contract, this is a year-round studio and private students are expected to keep consistent attendance and look at their piano study as a year-round endeavor. The mastery of any instrument depends upon a long-term commitment from the student and consistent practice throughout the year. That is why I strongly encourage my students to continue some form of summer study.
Why is there is an 8-lesson minimum over the summer to guarantee fall placement? Because we often have a wait list, we require a minimum summer investment in your studies in order to hold your spot for the upcoming school year. If you leave for the summer, we have to give consideration to those who have been faithfully waiting. Though there are 10 weeks of lessons during the summer session, students wishing to reserve a private lesson spot for the fall need only attend/pay for 8 of these lessons between 6/20 and 8/28. You may also choose to enroll in the full 10 lessons. With the 8-pack, you may take off two weeks of "free" vacation.
